WASC accreditation was first granted on June 24, 1977, and the current accreditation extends through 2027 in a six-year cycle that includes a required midterm visit around year three; this provides external validation of the quality and continuity of Morrison's American-style education.

2. Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) — Morrison Academy Taichung is also fully accredited by ACSI. ACSI accreditation was first granted on June 1, 1998, and the current accreditation runs through 2027 (with annual reporting and a midterm review as part of the process). The boarding program is also accredited by ACSI. This dual accreditation recognizes Morrison's adherence to Christian-based international school standards.
