Taoyuan American School

Taoyuan American School (TYAS) offers an American-based curriculum for grades 1–12, taught in English, with Advanced Placement (AP) courses available. The campus sits on the Kainan University campus in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, and TYAS notes a lake view from the site. TYAS describes its curriculum as American-based and aligned with the California State Board of Education common core standards, with English Language Arts, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Visual Arts, Music, Computer Science and Physical Education taught across the elementary grades; the middle school adds Public Speaking and Journalism, while the high school includes Spanish among its offerings.
