VIS offers the Ontario Curriculum and Project Based Learning (PBL). The High School provides Advanced Placement (AP) courses and access to SAT/ACT testing. An English as a Second Language program supports language development. Grade levels run from five to twelve, with Junior High enrollment of 122 students and Senior High enrollment of 175 students. The school has 99 faculty and staff members and an average class size of 15. High School is located at the Xing Yuan Building of National Taiwan University (3F, 4F, and 6F) at No. 97, Roosevelt Road, Section 1, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City 10093; Junior High is located at No. 13, Lane 133, Section 4, Roosevelt Road, Da'an District, Taipei City 106223, Taiwan. The school is authorized by the College Board to offer AP courses (CEEB code 694004), is a member of the Partner School Global Network via the British Council, is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), and is a Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) candidate.
All instruction is delivered in English. An English as a Second Language program is available.
Student life includes a Student Council and a Club Gallery. There are educational tours and opportunities to explore Taipei, and the school runs Community Service activities.
Community Service programs are part of School Life, with ongoing volunteering and service opportunities.
College Counseling is provided, and an Honors Program is offered. VIS is authorized by the College Board to provide AP courses (CEEB code 694004) and participates in the British Council's Partner School Global Network; the school is a CIS member and a WASC candidate.
VIS International Experimental Education in Taipei was founded in 2019. The High School site is on the National Taiwan University campus (Xing Yuan Building) near Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, with the Junior High/Elementary campus located on Roosevelt Road in Da'an District. The campus area is in central Taipei, surrounded by major cultural landmarks and university facilities.
