Anglo Singapore International School was founded in 2003, originally aiming to provide Singaporeans overseas with education aligned to both Singaporean and UK standards. It began in a modest school block at the end of Sukhumvit 31, eventually expanding to include two additional campuses: Campus 64 and one in Nakhon Ratchasima. From its start with just four students, the school now serves over 1,800 students from more than 25 nationalities, under the ownership of a private educational company. Its values of diligence, respect, responsibility, and progress have guided its steady growth and development over the past two decades.
The school emphasises developing a caring and inclusive community, where pastoral care, counselling, and career guidance complement academic learning. Students engage in leadership through roles such as prefects and student council members, and participate in Community Involvement Programmes (CIP), which include volunteering, ecological literacy, and NGO partnerships. Learning is further enriched with residential camps, outings, and immersive learning journeys that promote independence and personal growth.
The school supports family engagement through its Parent Support Group (PSG), which collects an annual fee of THB 1,200 per family to fund activities. The PSG organises events, projects, and activities that strengthen ties between parents, staff, and students. Examples include supporting cultural festivals, school fairs, student performances, and community events. The group also helps coordinate parent volunteers for school programmes and provides feedback to school leadership on parent perspectives.
