The AISB Soi 20 Campus is located at 162/2 Sukhumvit Soi 20, Klong Toey, Bangkok. It sits in a central residential area of Sukhumvit, surrounded by apartments and within easy reach of major roads and public transport. Many families live nearby, allowing some children to walk to school.
The Soi 20 Campus caters for Early Years education, serving children from 18 months (Nursery 1) to around 5 years old (Year 1). After this stage, children typically transition to the Soi 31 campus for Primary School.
The school is co-educational.
Support services include a structured EAL program with small-group and intensive options, along with a Learning Support department that provides personalized plans, assessments, and teacher collaboration. The Access and Inclusion teacher coordinates extra help with internal staff and external specialists as needed.
While not formally affiliated with the Australian government, the school’s curriculum and identity are strongly influenced by Australian education.
The school has no religious affiliations.
At the Soi 20 campus, the day is tailored to Early Years and younger Primary students. Nursery runs from 08:30 to 12:00, while Pre-Kindergarten 1 (Pre K1) operates from 08:30 to 12:10, and Pre-Kindergarten 2 (Pre K2) from 08:30 to 13:00. Foundation classes (at Soi 20 only) begin earlier, from 08:00 to 13:45. Year 1 students also start at 07:30, with classes finishing at 14:10. These timings reflect a shorter day for the youngest children and a gradual transition to longer school hours before moving on to Soi 31 for Foundation–Year 12.
AISB provides optional transportation in partnership with Montri Transport, a well-established Bangkok school transport provider. The service is door-to-door and includes both a driver and an adult supervisor on every route. Terms and conditions for the service are available directly from Montri upon request. This option gives families flexibility and additional safety for young children.

The AISB Sukhumvit Soi 20 Campus, founded in 2002 as the school’s original site, serves children from 18 months to around five years old (Nursery 1 to Year 1) in a residential pocket of central Sukhumvit. The campus constructs its early learning around the Australian Early Years Learning Framework ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’, promoting inquiry-based and play-centred experiences. Instruction is in English, and staffing includes native, qualified teachers. A co-curricular program incorporates art, music, sports, sciences and digital technologies—giving children opportunities to explore STEAM and creative expression from the outset. Daily bus and shuttle services ensure smooth journeys for local families and connectivity to the Upper Primary & Secondary campus on Soi 31. With low student numbers per class (typically 15–18) and a nurturing, tightly knit setting, the Soi 20 campus offers a welcoming first step into school life.
