BASIS International School Bangkok offers the BASIS Curriculum across Early Years, Primary, Middle, and High School. The Primary Years include a weekly 85‑minute Connections period that links humanities, science and math, engineering, performing arts, and Mandarin. In High School (Grades 9–12), students take Advanced Placement (AP) courses, with a minimum of six AP courses required for graduation. Graduates have gained admission to leading universities worldwide and have earned scholarships at institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Brown, MIT, Princeton, and Oxford.
Extracurricular offerings include Fine Arts such as Art Club, Dance Academy, Drama Club, Guitar, Music for Little Mozart, Piano, and Ukulele 101. A Black Box Theater and dedicated spaces support performing arts; the Extracurricular Catalog lists the full range of activities, with pricing and registration details available to enrolled families.
Optional Chinese Language Program is offered. Mandarin is taught as a foreign language, integrated into Primary Years. Foreign language study begins in Grade 7 and above.
Extracurricular programs include a wide range of clubs across sports, fine arts, STEM, and special interests, such as Cooking Club, E-Book Club, Gardening Club, Outdoor Education Club, Scouts International, Speech and Debate, and Thai Arts & Drama.
Students have opportunities to lead through clubs and student‑led activities; the school encourages students to form clubs and take initiative. The High School Senior Year focuses on college preparation, research projects, and developing professional skills through electives and college counseling.
Athletics and facilities support physical wellbeing, including a 25-meter competition pool, a 1,600-square-meter indoor gym, and a range of sports such as badminton, football (soccer), rugby, swimming, taekwondo, tennis, gymnastics, and basketball. Extracurricular offerings also include Outdoor Education and other wellness‑oriented activities.
BASIS International School Bangkok is a private international school that serves students from Nursery through Grade 12.
