History

Bloomsbury International School Hatyai opened its doors in mid‑2014 with around 30–40 students and 11 teachers across Primary and Secondary divisions . Since then, the school has achieved several important milestones: joining the International Schools' Association of Thailand in July 2015; becoming a Cambridge school in February 2016; earning accreditation as an OxfordAQA centre in January 2019; receiving CIS accreditation in January 2022; and gaining recognition from Thailand’s official inspections (ONESQA) by mid‑2022.

Community

The school operates a four‑house system and has a Student Council, both of which offer structured ways for students to engage and contribute to school life. Bloomsbury publishes a Gazette, a weekly newsletter that keeps families informed and connected. The community also shares a Yearbook, arranging co-curricular programmes and boarding life that foster interaction among students and staff.

Bloomsbury International School Hatyai, founded in 2014, serves around 140–200 students aged 2 to 18, offering both day and boarding options. Early Years (ages 2–5) follow the English EYFS framework, Primary follows the English National Curriculum, and Secondary students study the Cambridge curriculum, progressing to IGCSE and A‑Level qualifications. The school emphasizes small class sizes and close student–teacher relationships.
