Brighton College Bangkok was established in 2016 as part of the Brighton College family of schools, originally founded in the UK in 1845. The Bangkok campus was developed in partnership with the Brighton College board of governors and local investors, bringing the school’s ethos to Thailand. Since its opening, the school has grown steadily, expanding its facilities and student body. Its ownership structure is a collaboration between Brighton College in the UK and its Thai partners, ensuring both international standards and local governance.
The school community is active and diverse, with regular events that bring pupils, families, and staff together. Celebrations such as International Day, cultural festivals, and annual concerts highlight the variety of backgrounds represented in the school. Sports days, fairs, and charity fundraisers also play a central role in strengthening community ties and encouraging participation across year groups.
The Parent Teacher Association at Brighton College Bangkok works closely with staff to organise community events and provide support for school activities. They are involved in annual events such as Family Fun Day, the Jingle Bell Rock Party, and seasonal fairs, which offer opportunities for families to gather and connect. The PTA also helps coordinate fundraising for local charities and initiatives, encouraging parents and pupils to take part in meaningful service activities. In addition, they support sports and cultural events by assisting with logistics and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visiting families. Class representatives within the PTA also provide a channel for communication between parents and the school. Through these roles, the PTA plays a consistent part in shaping a collaborative and engaged school community.
