Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Wellbeing is woven into daily life at the school: Prep pupils experience dedicated mindfulness activities and wellbeing workshops alongside a “HEALTH” subject from Years 4 to 6 that supports emotional resilience and mental health. Staff, including pastoral teams and wellbeing practitioners, provide personalised support to help each child flourish socially and emotionally. House systems with tutors and House Parents further nurture belonging, mutual respect, and kindness across all year groups.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

The school does not publicly disclose information regarding Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision on its website.

Mental Wellbeing

Mental well-being is supported through initiatives such as the “HEALTH” subject for Years 4–6, which imparts life skills that contribute to mental health. Wellbeing practitioners and pastoral staff are in place to care for pupils’ emotional welfare across all ages.

Safeguarding

The school’s accreditation report (2023) highlights that safeguarding and child protection policies were rated “outstanding” across all categories covering health, safety, premises, and complaints handling, and inspectors noted strong relationships of trust and support between teachers and pupils.
