Facilities Overview

The BCISB building opened on March 16, 2009 and houses facilities that meet international standards. Each classroom contains a projector, screen, and smartboard, with dual air-conditioning for a comfortable climate. The lunchroom is international-standard and round-the-clock nurse staff ensure student health and safety. The campus includes two fully equipped science laboratories and two state-of-the-art media labs, with CCTV security throughout the premises. The campus also features a gymnasium, an outdoor covered sports facility, a swimming pool, a Hall of BCISB, a Kindergarten Building, an IMAC Lab, a Music Building, and playgrounds for kindergarten and elementary students.

Sports Facilities

The campus includes a gymnasium for physical education and indoor sports. An outdoor covered sports facility supports year-round activity. The swimming pool provides aquatic activities and training. The Hall of BCISB serves as a central multipurpose space for assemblies, performances, and school events. Kindergarten and elementary playgrounds offer outdoor spaces for active play.

Academic Facilities

The campus includes two fully equipped science laboratories. It has two state-of-the-art media labs. The IMAC Lab provides a dedicated space for ICT, design, coding, and multimedia work. The BCISB Library supports research and reading with multilingual resources and digital materials. The STEAM Lab, Music Department, and Art Studios support science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, as well as artistic disciplines, enhancing project-based learning.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The iMac Lab is a dedicated digital creativity space with Apple computers for ICT, design, coding, and video editing. The BCISB Library offers multilingual resources and digital materials to support research and reading. The STEAM Lab provides robotics equipment, 3D design tools, and engineering kits for hands-on learning. The Music Department features renovated acoustics, digital recording software, and practice rooms for music education and production. The Art Studios and Student Lounge support visual arts, collaborative learning, and the display of student work, while the Early Years Indoor Play Center supports learning through play for younger students.

Established in 2007, BCISB is the first and only school in Thailand offering the British Columbia (Canada) curriculum, accredited by both the BC Ministry of Education and the Thai Ministry of Education. Students graduate with the Dogwood Diploma, a Canadian high school qualification, and can also earn a Thai high school equivalency. The school emphasizes inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and global citizenship. BCISB’s campus includes modern classrooms, science and IT labs, a music and drama studio, art room, swimming pool, gymnasium, and outdoor sports areas.
