BCISB emphasizes multilingual communicators in its mission. The school delivers the British Columbia Canadian Curriculum and awards the Dogwood Diploma, with accreditation from both WASC and the British Columbia Ministry of Education, and it is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate, implementing the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). An English as a Second Language (EFL) evaluation is part of the admissions process, and an ESL program may be used to support language proficiency as needed. English language ability is considered in placement decisions during the admissions process.
Established in 2007, BCISB is the first and only school in Thailand offering the British Columbia (Canada) curriculum, accredited by both the BC Ministry of Education and the Thai Ministry of Education. Students graduate with the Dogwood Diploma, a Canadian high school qualification, and can also earn a Thai high school equivalency. The school emphasizes inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and global citizenship. BCISB’s campus includes modern classrooms, science and IT labs, a music and drama studio, art room, swimming pool, gymnasium, and outdoor sports areas.
