The school is divided into three distinct phases:
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception (aged 2-5)
Primary: Years 1 to 6 (aged 5-11)
Secondary: Years 7 to 13 (aged 11-18)
Bromsgrove is a co-educational British curriculum school offering both day places and boarding.
The school is academically selective, and non-native speakers undergo an English language assessment as part of admissions. Students needing support may be placed in English First @ BIST, a bespoke EAL programme. While there is no publicly listed SEN department, the school maintains small class sizes and pastoral structures that support differentiated learning
