EFIP is a French international school located in Huai Yai, east of Pattaya. The 15,000 m² campus can accommodate up to 400 students from nursery through terminale and features modern buildings set in a green setting. It is homologated by the French Ministry of Education and is a partner of AEFE. French is the main language of instruction, with English, Thai, Chinese and Spanish taught as additional languages. The school welcomes students from more than 16 nationalities and prepares pupils for the general baccalaureate, with a path to study in France or abroad.
Numerous sports activities are offered as part of the curriculum. The program also includes artistic and cultural activities, contributing to a holistic education. The school emphasizes a broad extracurricular program that supports students' development beyond academics.
EFIP follows the official French national education programs and is homologated by the French Ministry of Education. The main language of instruction is French, with English, Thai, Chinese and Spanish taught as additional languages. The school prepares students for the Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB) and the general baccalaureate, with official certifications available. It is AEFE-partnered and collaborates with CNED to provide international connections. Class sizes are small to support individualized attention.
Numerous extracurricular activities are available, including sports, arts and culture. School events are regularly organized, and the school publishes 'Khaosan,' the student newspaper. Bridge Class provides support for children who do not yet speak French. Inter-level artistic workshops promote collaboration across grade levels.
Ecole Française Internationale de Pattaya delivers the French national curriculum from kindergarten (maternelle, age 3) through terminale (age 18). Located just east of Pattaya in a leafy Huai Yai setting, it opened in 2009 and relocated to a new campus in 2018. Class sizes are kept small, about 10 students each with a maximum of 15, which supports teaching in French while offering English, Thai, Spanish, and Chinese. From 3e onwards, students enrol in CNED courses to prepare for the French national brevet and baccalauréat examinations. The school is part of the AEFE network and holds E3D recognition for sustainable development practices. Facilities include science laboratories, an art room, sports fields, swimming pool and dojo. A signature initiative is its “bridge class” system, designed to support non-French-speaking children with intensive French before integration into mainstream classes. EFIP also offers an optional school bus service and billing in instalments when needed.
