Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

First & Future Steps International School Bangkok traces its origins to 1997, when it began as The First Steps, a small preschool offering early childhood education in central Bangkok. The school expanded to primary education in August 2024 under the name Future Steps, creating a full Early Years and Primary pathway for children aged 16 months to 11 years. The school is privately owned and operates as a co‑educational day school. Its development reflects the growing demand for international early years and primary education in Bangkok’s expatriate community.

The school organizes cultural and community events, including seasonal celebrations, school fairs, and performances that involve students and parents. These activities foster connections among families and support a welcoming atmosphere for newcomers to Bangkok.
