Harrow Bangkok delivers a British-style education across all stages, starting with its Little Lions Curriculum for children aged 18 months to 5 years, aligned with England’s Early Years Foundation Stage and organised into learning domains and disciplines. In Pre-Prep (ages 5–10 years), students follow a thematic curriculum grounded in core academic subjects, English, Maths, Science, Arts, PSHCE, Computing, languages, PE, and more, supplemented by leadership and service modules and underpinned by the High Performance Learning (HPL) approach. Moving into Upper School (Years 6–8, Prep), the curriculum transitions to the English national curriculum framework, enriched through Challenge Days and enquiry-style learning with HPL-style thinking and performing skills. In Shell (Year 9), students study a broad range of subjects, including English, Maths, Sciences, Humanities, Design, Music, Drama, Thai, modern languages, and PE, with targeted English support offered to those still developing language skills. Remove and Fifth Form (Years 10–11) are dedicated to the IGCSE programme, offering core and optional subjects across academic, artistic, and technical disciplines, complemented by Futures lessons and a leadership-service curriculum. Finally, in Sixth Form (Years 12–13), students choose 3–4 A-Level subjects from a wide list (e.g., Sciences, Maths, Humanities, Arts), and also complete either an Extended Project Qualification or a Harrow Research Pathway alongside university preparation.
Harrow International School Bangkok opened in 1998 as the first Harrow-branded school in Asia and now educates roughly 1,846 students aged 18 months to 18 years on a 35-acre campus in Don Mueang, north Bangkok. The school offers a British education in English, starting from the Early Years Foundation Stage, progressing through Cambridge IGCSEs and culminating in Cambridge A-Levels. Students benefit from academic enrichment through a High Performance Learning approach, specialist IGCSE and A-Level subjects (including languages such as French, Mandarin, Japanese and Thai), and dedicated university guidance. Facilities include sports fields, a lake for water-based activities, and a Creative & Performing Arts Centre with a Steinway recital hall. The “Leadership in Action” programme integrates arts, community service, and leadership development into daily school life. School bus services cover 32 routes, and boarding is available from Prep onwards. Head Master James Murphy-O’Connor leads the co-educational day and boarding community.
