Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

The International School of Phuket (ISP) was founded in 2008 and operates as an independent international day school in Rawai, Phuket . It is one of the region’s early adopters of the Cambridge International curriculum and remains the only Cambridge-accredited school in Rawai.

Community

ISP hosts a variety of eco‑focused events, such as gardening days and upcycling craft projects, which bring families together on campus . Community stays connected through holiday programmes like ISP Camp, which welcomes current students and external participants alike. These gatherings promote cross-age interaction and reinforce shared values of environmental stewardship.

Parent-Teacher Association

While ISP does not formally list a Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) on its website, parents are actively involved in school life, particularly through community and environmental events. Parents regularly attend on-campus activities such as gardening days, upcycling craft sessions, and seasonal celebrations, which are often designed to involve both families and staff.
