Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Submit Application and Schedule Interview
Families begin by completing the school’s application form (available through the school’s Info Hub) and submitting relevant documents. An appointment is arranged for an interview with an Administrator.

2. Placement Testing
Following the interview, the prospective student takes placement tests in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. These help determine the student’s current level and identify any support services needed.

3. Grade Placement Decision
The school reviews the test results with consideration of age, previous academic performance, and test outcomes to place the student in the appropriate grade level.

4. Payment of Fees and Final Registration
Successful placement is followed by payment of tuition and related fees (registration, textbook rental, etc.) before the semester’s start. Completion of registration formalizes the final step of admission.

Waitlist

The school does not mention any waitlist or admissions pool system in its publicly available materials or handbook.

Kevalee International School, located in a peaceful suburb of Bangkok, serves students from approximately 2½ to 18 years old and follows a modified American-style curriculum with a multicultural focus. English is the language of instruction, and Thai language and culture are taught across all grade levels. Small class sizes allow for close teacher–student interaction. The school is licensed by Thailand’s Ministry of Education and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in the USA. Facilities include a library, canteen, and sports areas, with access to a school van service for transportation. Distinctive programs include the “Trash to Cash” recycling initiative, where students sort recyclables, which are later sold to support community service projects. Annual traditions such as Sports Day, the Kevalee Fair showcasing student projects, and cultural celebrations like International Day encourage participation beyond the classroom.
