MISB has a four-house system: Green, Pink, Red and Yellow, named after Sat Gurus. The houses provide identity and positive competition and include intra-mural competitions; house points are awarded and the Champions Trophy is awarded to the top house.

Students are prepared for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level examinations in secondary years, with standard assessments at earlier stages. Facilities include science laboratories, ICT rooms, art and music studios, a library, a multipurpose auditorium, outdoor sports courts, and a swimming pool. The school also has a cafeteria and provides transport services through an outsourced provider.
