Oonrak Koh Samui School offers a bilingual programme that combines the Thai National Curriculum, the British Curriculum, and elements of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. In Daycare and Pre-Kindergarten, children learn through play and discovery, with activities delivered in both Thai and English. In Kindergarten (1–3), learning is evenly divided between English and Thai, covering early literacy, numeracy, and practical subjects. In Primary (1–6), English is the medium for subjects such as English language, mathematics, science, physical education, and swimming, while Thai is used for Thai language, mathematics, science, computing, art, social studies, and citizenship. Additional weekly classes include art, computing, Chinese (Mandarin), Thai dance, Scouts, and swimming. This blended curriculum ensures that students develop strong academic foundations while gaining competence in both English and Thai.
Oonrak Koh Samui School, established in 2005, offers bilingual education for children aged approximately 3 to 12. Half the timetable is delivered in English (covering English language, mathematics, science, physical education, and swimming), while the other half is in Thai (covering Thai language, mathematics, science, computing, art, and social studies), blending the Thai National, British National, and Cambridge International curricula. Located on Koh Samui’s north shore, the campus features a full‑sized covered swimming pool, running track, covered football pitch, science laboratories, a 30‑station computer suite, library, art room, dance studio, music room, meditation room, and colourful playgrounds set in tropical gardens. The school offers a limited school bus service and welcomes both boys and girls, with the aim of helping students grow in both languages, academic skills, and personal development.
