It began as a small, privately owned school offering the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to young learners aged 2 to 5. The school expanded gradually, and by 2017, it had added primary-level education, incorporating the UK National Curriculum up to Year 6. In 2018, the school received its International Kindergarten License from Thailand’s Ministry of Education, followed by its International Primary School License in 2021, officially recognizing it as a fully licensed international institution.
The school is operated independently and remains under private ownership, with a leadership team comprising experienced educators. Its development has included the creation of purpose-built learning spaces within a secured residential compound in Bang Khun Thian. Royce Royal has also pursued membership in educational associations such as ISAT and NDNA (UK), and in 2022, it achieved national ONESQA accreditation, confirming its compliance with Thailand’s external quality assessment standards.
The school community includes regular gatherings such as Open House events, providing opportunities for parents to engage with staff and learn about school life. Cultural celebrations, such as Thai Traditional Week and International Week, are held each year and highlighted in the school calendar. A Parent Committee was formally established in August 2016, when parents and the management team met to set up collaborative governance structures. Royce Royal International School in Bangkok opened in February 2015 and serves children aged 1.5 to 11. It offers the British Early Years Foundation Stage for Nursery to Early Year 2 and the British National Curriculum for Years 1–6. The campus is located inside Ngam Charoen Village in Bang Khun Thian, within a secure residential compound covering approximately 4 rai (6,000 m²) of green space, accessible via Kanchanaphisek and Rama 2 roads.
