Ruamrudee International School Phuket (RIS Phuket) is a coastal international school located at 22/28 Moo 3, Chalong, Phuket, on a seaside campus designed to blend indoor classrooms with natural, outdoor surroundings. The school currently accepts children from about age 2 (Pre-K 2) through Grade 8, with plans to expand to higher grades over time. Instruction is in English, following a modified American curriculum aligned with AERO standards, while early years (nursery and kindergarten) follow a Reggio-inspired, play- and exploration-based approach. Class sizes remain small — roughly 18 students per class in elementary and middle school — allowing for close attention to each child’s learning and development. Among its notable strengths are opportunities for outdoor education (leveraging its coastal setting), a dedicated STEM/Innovation Lab program, and a focus on service and sustainability in line with the school’s “Head, Hands, and Heart” philosophy.
