Shrewsbury International School Bangkok City Campus was established in August 2018 to meet growing demand for primary places. It operates under the governance of Shrewsbury School in the UK, serving as a dedicated feeder campus for children aged 2–11 before they transition to Riverside for Secondary education. The campus currently supports approximately 550 students and is part of a broader British international school network in Thailand.
The school hosts regular community events seen in news and blog updates, such as Family Golf Day and art auctions tied to its 5th anniversary that raised funds for local charities. It also features seasonal celebrations like Speech Day, graduation ceremonies, Year 1 Camp Night, and themed learning events like 'Come Learn Maths'. A monthly House System, led by six House teams named after Nobel Peace Prize recipients, supports student participation in drama, sports, music and other in-school competitions.
The City Campus Parent Committee is active in organising events such as the Family Golf Day and charity art auctions, allowing parents to participate in fundraising and community building. These events bring together families, staff, and school leadership in relaxed social settings, often supporting children’s charitable initiatives. Parents also contribute through volunteer roles during events and through regular updates and discussion sessions via the school’s parent portal and community newsletters.
Shrewsbury Bangkok’s City Campus opened in 2018 in central Bangkok to serve children aged 2–11 in a setting focused on primary‑age education. The curriculum follows the English National Curriculum, from Nursery (EYFS) through Key Stage 2 (Years 1–6), all taught in English. Located near Sukhumvit, Rama 9 and Petchaburi roads, the campus combines easy accessibility with safe, modern facilities spread over 17 rai with indoor pools, a sports hall and running track, creative studios, library, media and tech labs, and a 655‑seat auditorium. With a capacity of 744 and around 600 students enrolled, the school offers dedicated pastoral care through Learning Mentors and a focus on student responsibility via its House Captain and Student Council programmes.
