The Riverside Campus sits on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in central Bangkok. It spans about 40 rai (roughly 6 hectares) and includes Memorial Hall, three libraries with over 42,000 books, drama rehearsal studios, music rooms, art studios and a textiles room, a Design and Technology room, and two dining halls. Senior School buildings host the Sir David Lees Innovation Centre and a dedicated Sixth Form Centre, along with a Robotics Room and a river-facing cafe. The campus provides a technology-forward learning environment with interactive whiteboards in all classrooms, Apple TV in every Junior School classroom, and campus-wide high-speed wifi with one-to-one devices from Year 5. It also features a comprehensive Sports Complex with facilities for gymnastics, swimming, tennis and squash.
The Sports Complex includes a Gymnastic Hall, two swimming pools, two indoor sports halls, and elevated tennis and squash courts. The campus supports a broad range of athletic activities and teams as part of its co-curricular programme.
There are 18 laboratories (six per subject) located in the Sir David Lees Innovation Centre, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics labs. The campus houses three libraries, as well as dedicated spaces for drama, music, art and textiles, Design and Technology, and Food Technology. Year groups have access to a Flexible Learning Space and interactive learning resources such as interactive whiteboards and Apple TV in Junior School classrooms, with high-speed wifi supporting one-to-one devices from Year 5 upwards. The Sixth Form Centre supports Years 12–13 with a robotics room and a river-view cafe, complemented by a broad range of facilities across Senior and Sixth Form.
Co-curricular opportunities include a House System, You-Time Activities, a Well-Being Team, Special Needs support and English language support. The Sixth Form offers the Reading the World Programme and a Leadership Programme, with a wide range of enrichment opportunities, sports, music, STEM and drama available across the school.
Shrewsbury International School Bangkok – Riverside Campus, founded in 2003, is located beside the Chao Phraya River on Charoen Krung Road in central Bangkok. It educates around 1,900 students aged 3–18 across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form stages, all taught in English via the British National Curriculum, with IGCSE, AS‑Level and A‑Level qualifications. Each class typically hosts 21 students, capped at 25. The school’s Innovation Centre (opened 2021) includes robotics labs, computing suites and university‑style science labs, forming the hub of its STEM programme.
