Si Ri Panya International School on Koh Phangan opened in 2012 and gained its official international school license in September 2019, offering British primary education and Cambridge IGCSE qualifications. Set in the serene Ban Tai area, the campus is easily accessible on the island yet surrounded by lush, green outdoor learning spaces. The school serves ages 3 to 18, with class sizes capped at 20 and around 155 students from over 20 nationalities. The school delivers the British National Curriculum in primary and Cambridge IGCSEs in secondary, taught in English, with Thai, Spanish, and French offered as subject languages. Facilities include science and design-technology labs, two libraries, and a covered basketball court. Notably, the school holds the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award and runs Koh Phangan’s first Precious Plastic recycling project, integrating sustainability into student learning. Leadership comes from Director Nicola Bunchuay, and day-school transport is available. Si Ri Panya blends curricular focus with environmental initiative in a supportive island setting.
