Si Ri Panya International School incorporates Social and Emotional Learning into the curriculum through PSHE lessons, class discussions, and collaborative projects. Students engage in activities that develop skills such as empathy, conflict resolution, and responsible decision-making. Group work, themed events, and community activities are used to strengthen communication and teamwork. The approach supports students in recognising and managing emotions, building positive relationships, and contributing constructively to their school community.
The school has a designated SEN Lead within the Secondary Team who works with teachers and families to support students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other learning challenges. This includes social, emotional, and mental health support tailored to individual needs. Si Ri Panya is not a specialist SEN institution but provides specific expertise through this SEN Lead.
Si Ri Panya offers structured EAL & literacy support. Students whose first language is not English are assessed and placed into either Level 1 (intensive small-group pull-out plus in-class support) or Level 2 (free in-class transition support). These levels are designed to build students’ English skills and independence.
Mental wellbeing is supported through a range of pastoral provisions. These include a daily Morning Calm Drop‑In (quiet space for meditation, coloring, singing), Quiet Zones during breaks (offering calm alternatives with board games and mindfulness), Nurture Group Interventions using art, cooking, and craft activities, and Pastoral Learning Walks by the Pastoral Lead to check in on students’ social and emotional state.
Safeguarding is led by the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), supported by a Deputy DSL, and follows the Child Protection Act of Thailand (2003) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. All staff receive annual safeguarding awareness training, with induction training for new staff. The policy outlines clear reporting procedures, confidentiality protocols, and coordination with Thai authorities or external agencies in cases of suspected abuse. A Board Member provides quality assurance and oversight of safeguarding practices
