Singapore International School Chiangmai offers a trilingual curriculum with English as the primary language of instruction, and additional instruction in Chinese and Thai. In Early Years (Nursery to Kindergarten), students follow the UK’s EYFS framework. From Primary School, the Singapore Curriculum is used, emphasising core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Science. In Secondary School, students prepare for the Cambridge IGCSE examinations. In Years 11–12 (Sixth Form), students undertake Cambridge International AS and A Level courses. Across all stages, the curriculum is designed to build bilingual and bicultural competencies alongside academic progression.
Singapore International School Chiangmai (SISB Chiangmai), established in 2017, is centrally located in Chiang Mai’s historic Si Phum district, near iconic temples and cultural landmarks. The school serves approximately 277 students aged 2 to 18 in a trilingual environment, with instruction in English. SISB Chiangmai offers the Singapore curriculum in the primary years, followed by the Cambridge IGCSE programme in Grades 9–10 and Cambridge AS & A Levels in the Sixth Form. The Early Years programme is based on the UK’s EYFS framework. Known for its close-knit community and experiential approach, the school provides enrichment through co-curricular activities such as taekwondo, swimming, hip-hop dance, and performing arts. SISB Chiangmai is also a certified centre for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, which enhances students’ outdoor learning and leadership skills.
