The school offers an extensive range of after-school activities, with over 55 clubs available. Clubs run from 2:30 to 3:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. They are open to all students from KG1 upwards. Students are encouraged to participate in three clubs per week, to support personal development.
Creative Pursuits include art lessons, clay modelling, jewellery making, LEGO building, and more. These activities are part of the after-school club program and foster creativity. They are designed to complement academic learning and offer opportunities for self-expression.
Sports are a major component, including football, basketball, table tennis, dance, rock climbing, and a partnership with the Songkhla FC Academy. Other clubs support social and hobby interests and help students develop teamwork and resilience. Community Service is offered through a charity club, where students organise events to raise funds for those in need. These activities promote social responsibility, collaboration, and community engagement.
The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is highlighted as part of SIH's extracurricular program. The school provides opportunities for leadership development and service through this award. These opportunities support student growth in planning, teamwork, and perseverance.
Wellbeing and Fitness activities include yoga, sensory activities, and a range of arts and crafts to promote relaxation and creativity. These activities support physical and mental well-being. They contribute to a balanced school experience.
Southern International School Hat Yai (SIH), founded in 2015 and serving ages 2 to 18, offers a blend of British and international curricula from EYFS through IGCSE and A Levels.
