History

St. Mark’s Australian International School was established in 1999. It is the first school in Thailand to offer an Australian international curriculum. The school operates in Bangkok and provides a bilingual and trilingual learning environment, offering instruction in English, Thai, and Mandarin. The curriculum structure incorporates both Australian and Singaporean models, particularly at the primary level, and leads into IGCSE and A-Level examinations in the upper years. The school has built partnerships with educational authorities in Western Australia and maintains close academic ties with Australian institutions.

St. Mark’s Australian International School, established in 1999, was the first Australian international school in Thailand. It offers a bilingual curriculum that blends the Australian and Singaporean education systems in primary, and transitions to the Cambridge IGCSE and AUSMAT (Australian Matriculation) for senior students. The AUSMAT programme is conducted in partnership with the Western Australian Government, enabling students to earn a WACE certificate and ATAR score for university admission globally. The school features modern classrooms, science and computer labs, music and performing arts rooms, a library, swimming pool, canteen, and outdoor sports facilities. Students have access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including language enrichment, STEM programmes, and cultural events.
