St. Stephen's International School Bangkok offers a diverse enrichment programme that contextualises and reinforces classroom learning while developing communication, collaboration and leadership. Students are encouraged to participate in two activities per week, with the programme refreshed each term to introduce new activities and skills. The academic-enrichment activities include Debating and/or Public Speaking, Model United Nations (MUN), Mathematics Challenge and Mathematics Problem Solving and Games, alongside robotics, coding and other problem-solving tasks delivered with external partners.
The Music Department offers a broad range of extracurricular activities, including choirs for different ages, an orchestra, a Thai music ensemble, rock bands and a world drumming ensemble. An Instrumental Programme provides weekly tuition for over 100 students, with termly sign-ups and encouragement to pursue ABRSM examinations. Drama is taught to all students in Key Stage 3, and annual productions involve pupils from across the school. The department also participates in Thailand International Schools Activity Conference (TISAC) and FOBISIA events.
Language and cultural activities are part of the enrichment offering, including Chinese Art & Culture and Chinese pop songs, Mandarin language experiences, and reading/book clubs conducted in English, Mandarin and Thai. A broad sport programme supports wellbeing, with weekly physical education, opportunities to study at IGCSE and A Level, and Leadership and Fitness units for older students. Students participate in FOBISIA and local competitions, and house sports days and swimming galas provide teamwork experiences. Mindfulness and wellness activities, including mindfulness-focused yoga and other fitness activities, are offered within the enrichment programme.
