Curriculum

Thai-Chinese International School (TCIS) follows an American curriculum based on U.S. Common Core State Standards, with English as the primary language of instruction. From early years through Grade 12, students receive daily instruction in Mandarin and Thai alongside core academic subjects. In the elementary years, the curriculum emphasizes literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies, supported by specialist classes in art, music, and physical education. In middle school (Grades 5–8), students take core subjects along with exploratory electives and participate in co-curricular clubs. In high school (Grades 9–12), students can choose from a range of electives and sit for Advanced Placement (AP) courses in subjects such as Biology, Calculus, Psychology, and World History. Language support programs, including ELL and Chinese for Beginners, are available for students who need additional help.
