TSI International School was founded in 1985 as Thai Sikh International School, making it one of Bangkok's earliest registered international schools. It operates as a non-profit institution governed by a charitable foundation. In 2017 the school entered a renewal phase with new leadership and a comprehensive review of its Values and Guiding Statements, with International Schools Services (ISS) taking on management from 2017 to 2023. In August 2025, Bearing Campus opened a second primary school, Bearing Primary, enabling a single-campus option for children aged 2–18 and expanding the school's primary provision; the Bearing Campus now houses the secondary school alongside Bearing Primary, while Wongwianyai Campus remains the original Wongwianyai Primary School. The school is a member of CIS and is pursuing full accreditation, with plans for continued expansion across its campuses.
The TSI community is diverse and growing, with over 30 nationalities represented across the school. The Wongwianyai and Bearing campuses provide age-appropriate environments and a family‑oriented, supportive culture for students and families. The Bearing Campus offers a shuttle service from Bearing BTS Station to facilitate family access to the campus. Open houses and personal tours are regularly offered to prospective families, reflecting an open and welcoming community.
The school does not publicly reference a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA) on its site. Parent involvement is supported through activities such as parent workshops, including sessions like “Understanding Your Early Adolescent” hosted at the Wongwianyai Campus. Parents are kept informed through community newsletters and regular updates from the school. Open house events and campus tours provide opportunities for parent engagement with teachers and students at both Wongwianyai and Bearing campuses. Alumni and broader community events are referenced in school communications as part of ongoing family engagement.
TSI International School’s Wongwianyai Campus, established in 1985, delivers the British National Curriculum to children aged 2 to 11 across Early Years and Primary stages. Nestled in the Wongwianyai district of Bangkok on Prachathipok Road, it offers spacious classrooms, an air‑conditioned gymnasium, libraries, STEAM and arts studios, playgrounds, swimming pools, and a basement drop‑off area. The school teaches in English, complemented by instruction in Thai, Punjabi, Hindi, and Chinese. Specialist teachers lead STEAM, music, art, PE, and language programmes, alongside inquiry‑based learning in core subjects. This campus is known for its focused STEAM integration, creative arts provision, and active sports participation, including inter‑school competitions.
