Academic and Intellectual

The Wells Thong Lo Campus uses American standards as the core of the curriculum. It offers an American and IB university-preparatory program for students from kindergarten through high school. The Expected School-Wide Learning Results focus on communication skills, problem-solving, life skills and responsible citizenship, healthy habits, technology, and Thai culture. Graduates are prepared to be effective communicators, critical thinkers, responsible global citizens, healthy individuals, proficient users of technology, and culturally diverse learners.

Arts and Creative

Arts are included as part of Wells' broad after-school and extra-curricular program. The Wells Extra-curricular Activities page notes that after-school offerings cover academics, sports, and arts programs. Students participate in national and international competitions in academics, the arts, and debate, including events such as the World Scholar's Cup. Arts activities also include projects like mural art and dance performances.

Cultural and Language

Thai culture is one of the focus areas addressed in the ESLRs, with emphasis on appreciation of Thai culture and arts. Students learn about Thai culture and arts and are encouraged to express appreciation for Thai heritage; respect for the Thai king and Thai culture is part of the program. The student body is diverse, representing more than 15 nationalities. Wells fosters cross-cultural understanding as part of its global education framework.

Social and Hobbies

Extra-curricular Activities include a wide variety of after-school activities, including academic, sports and arts programs. Sports participate in inter-school competitions through the Thailand International Schools Activity Conference (TISAC); the Wells Seahawks compete and the school has sought BISAC membership. There are student-led service clubs and opportunities to participate in service projects and events in collaboration with NGOs. Past events include Tree Planting with ServICE schools, Inter-school Reef Clean Up Day, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiatives.

Community and Service

Community engagement and service learning is a core component for the IB Diploma Programme and Wells graduation requirement; the school aims to support local community involvement on a global scale. Students participate in service clubs and projects in collaboration with local NGOs and community partners toward achieving the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals. Past activities include Tree Planting with ServICE schools, Inter-school Reef Clean Up Day, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiatives.

Leadership and Professional

There are student-led service clubs, ambassador roles, and youth leadership projects that involve students in leadership activities. These experiences connect Wells students with inter-school conferences and global leadership initiatives. The program emphasizes developing leadership and advocacy through partnerships with NGOs and community partners.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The Thong Lo campus is housed in a courtyard garden in central Bangkok. The environment is nurturing and play-based, helping children develop confidence, imagination and independence. Healthy Habits are a focus within the ESLRs, emphasizing physical and mental well-being. Participation in school sports through TISAC supports students' physical well-being.
