Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Wells began as EverClever Kindergarten in late 1998 with just four students on Sukhumvit Soi 47. In 2003, the Thong Lo campus opened to serve Nursery through Grade 6, marking its establishment as the system's early years hub. It is part of the EverClever Education Group, which has since grown to include multiple campuses and university pathways.

Community

While the Thong Lo site doesn’t list community-specific cultural events, Wells system-wide is active in events like International Day, environmental service projects, and inter-school competitions in sports, arts, and academics. Students are encouraged to engage in service‑learning activities across campuses.

Parent-Teacher Association

Wells operates a Parent‑Teacher Organization (PTO) that supports school events, bridges families with the Thai department to promote cultural understanding, and hosts parent‑education seminars such as “Creating Happy Learners.” The PTO serves as a collaborative community voice for families across the system.

Wells International Kindergarten – Thong Lo Campus opened in 2003 and is situated at 6 Sukhumvit Soi 51, within walking distance of Thong Lo BTS station in Bangkok’s residential Thong Lo district. The campus offers an American‑based kindergarten curriculum for children aged 2 to 7, framed by the Thai Ministry of Education and Wells’ own standards. The layout centers around a child‑safe courtyard with slides, swings, and ample natural light, surrounded by classrooms equipped with technology for hands‑on learning. Specialist facilities include an art studio, music and dance studio, computer lab, and a small gymnasium, along with a swimming pool and bicycle track, supporting creative and active play . Headed by Gona Narula, this co‑educational, early‑years campus emphasizes a nurturing, play‑based environment aimed at fostering confidence and imagination in children aged 2–7 from a diverse international community.
