Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Submit an application form. Parents are required to complete the application form corresponding to the chosen programme—General Education, Intensive English Programme (IEP), or the Mathematics-Science track. Required documents typically include a copy of the child’s birth certificate, previous school records, and photographs.

2. Participate in an assessment. Applicants may be asked to complete a placement test or attend an interview. In the 2024 intake, for example, a “selection exam” was part of the admissions process for certain year groups.

3. Receive an offer. If the child meets the entry criteria, parents will receive an offer letter with enrolment instructions. This includes confirmation of programme placement, fee payment instructions, and deadlines.

4. Confirm enrolment. Parents confirm the place by submitting required forms and paying any registration or initial fees (not published online). Information on uniforms, school supplies, and transport services is typically shared at this stage.

Wittaya Sathid School in Phuket, Thailand, opened its Kindergarten building in 1998 as part of a purpose-built bilingual campus. Located at 9/2 Komaraphat Road in central Phuket Town, the school serves children aged 2 to 12 in pre-school, Kindergarten, and primary classes. It follows Thailand’s Ministry of Education curriculum, enriched with English and Chinese language instruction led by experienced local and foreign teachers. Facilities include dedicated science and computer labs, library, music and art rooms, sports fields, and a swimming pool. Class sizes are modest—about 224 Kindergarten students across 14 classes (~16 children per class), supported by a strong teacher-to-student ratio. The school emphasises balanced academic development, early STEM exposure, and creative arts. Regular student selection events, language programmes, and a safe, convenient transport system reflect its focus on student engagement and welfare. Wittaya Sathid provides a dependable pathway from pre-school into primary years within a caring bilingual environment.
