The school offers boarding through on-site dormitories at the Green Valley campus. There are separate boys' and girls' dormitories with 24-hour supervision by dorm parents and a certified nurse.
Uniforms are required for all students. Nursery and Kindergarten wear dresses for girls and polo shirts with shorts for boys; Elementary students wear similar uniforms; Middle and High School wear polo shirts with skirts for girls (the skirt length shall be no shorter than 5 cm above the center of the kneecap) or polo shirts with trousers for boys. PE uniforms (T-shirts and navy blue shorts) are worn for PE and swimming, and students should change to regular uniforms after PE; school jackets may be worn over uniforms to keep warm in air-conditioned classrooms. Scarf and tie are part of some uniform components; a school bag is issued as part of the kit.
ASB provides a full-service canteen with Asian, Western, vegetarian, and halal options daily. Center Point is open to purchase snacks and drinks, and students may bring healthy snacks from home but nuts should be avoided due to allergies.
XCL Education owns and operates XCL American School of Bangkok. The school comprises two campuses, Sukhumvit and Green Valley. In 2022, ASB joined XCL Education and was renamed XCL American School of Bangkok.
XCL American School of Bangkok (Sukhumvit) serves students aged 2 to 18 in Pre‑K through Grade 12. Established in 1983, it offers an American curriculum aligned with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, and in high school a wide Advanced Placement (AP) programme including AP Capstone with over 20 AP courses available. Located on Sukhumvit Road near BTS Thong Lor and Phrom Phong stations, the school has classrooms, science labs, media centre, library, swimming pool, sports complex, gym and music studios. Project‑Based Learning and Social‑Emotional Learning are integral across grade levels. Students come from over 40 nationalities, and middle/high school students engage in community hours service projects. Support is available for EAL (English as Additional Language) and learning needs on a case‑by‑case basis. Graduates have received multi‑million‑dollar scholarship offers from universities worldwide. The co‑educational campus also offers boarding from Grade 6 upward via ASB PLUS.
