Academic and Intellectual

The primary section offers the Cambridge curriculum. Learners participate in project work. Academic celebrations include World Literacy Day, International Literacy Day, World Water Day, International Women's Day, and Mothers' Day.

Arts and Creative

Clubs include Swimming Club, Ballet Club, Music Club, Junior Chef Club, Football Club and Piano Club. Craft making is part of activities. A Paper Craft Africa field trip provided hands-on experiences in paper crafting and observing artisans.

Cultural and Language

The school participates in cultural and language-related events including International Literacy Day, World Literacy Day, and International Women's Day. World Literacy Day and International Literacy Day celebrate literacy across cultures. Mothers' Day is also observed.

Social and Hobbies

Football Club is offered as an extra-curricular activity. Gardening and Field Trips are included in co-curricular activities. Assembly Presentations are also a component of the program.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The swimming pool opened on December 13, 2023, enabling swimming lessons and water activities tailored for all age groups. Water-based games like swimming contribute to well‑rounded development. The school also emphasizes sport as a driver of mental and physical well‑being.

Acadia International School is an international day school in Lubowa, Kampala, Uganda, welcoming children from ages 2 to 7. The Early Years curriculum integrates the EYFS with the IEYC, while Lower Primary follows the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. English-medium instruction guides a progression from early years to Primary, with small class sizes to support close teacher–child interaction. All classrooms have smart digital boards to enable interactive learning. The campus is set in a green environment with extensive outdoor play areas and a playground for daily activity. Facilities include an IT Room, a Library, a computer lab, and dedicated Art and Music Rooms to support arts and technology education. The program includes water-based activities such as swimming and regular sports. Extracurriculars feature Swimming, Ballet, Music, Football and Piano clubs, along with craft and gardening activities and project work that celebrate literacy and culture throughout the year.
