Greenhill International School (GIS) is part of the Greenhill Schools network in Uganda, established in 1994 with campuses in Buwaate, Kansanga, and Kibuli. GIS offers the Cambridge International Curriculum to learners aged 4 to 15, including Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, and Cambridge IGCSE. The school serves ages 2 to 18 as a Christian international day school, blending Cambridge standards with Ugandan context and Christian values. Learning is learner-centered, with emphasis on deep understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving, and applying knowledge in meaningful ways, preparing students for IGCSE examinations and for lifelong learning and global citizenship. Facilities are safe, welcoming and well-resourced, with classrooms equipped for interactive learning, plus outdoor spaces and creative areas. Notable programs include the Football Academy; Music & Choir; and Environmental Club, alongside a Traditional Dance Troupe that celebrates Ugandan heritage. GIS aims to support academic development across all age groups within multi-campus framework.
