Kampala Community International Primary School (KCIS) offers the British Curriculum, adapting the UK English National Curriculum to reflect its international Ugandan community. It is a single‑stream primary with six academic years (Year 1 to Year 6), class sizes capped at 20 and a teacher–student ratio of up to 1:10. Classes are allocated by date of birth on 1 September, and the school aims to inspire a love of learning while equipping students with skills, attitudes and values for diverse potentials. KCIS includes 13 subjects across English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, French (KS2), Music, ICT, Design & Technology, Art, PE, Swimming, PSHE, Life Skills, Library Time and Current Affairs (KS2), plus Daily Exercise. Swimming is part of the curriculum, and sport is played through ISSA leagues.
