Character is important and spiritual life is central to the education at SIS. Bible teachings are integrated into lessons to connect classroom topics to everyday life. Devotions begin each day in every classroom, and chapel is held on Fridays, with weekly times of prayer for staff. The curriculum supports holistic development including social, physical, psychological, intellectual and spiritual growth.
On admission, an assessment identifies whether the student will need special or additional support on enrolment. Lessons are individualized to ensure that no child is left behind.
French and Kiswahili are taught as part of the curriculum alongside English as a core subject.

Sycamore International School offers the Cambridge Primary curriculum alongside the British curriculum for learners aged 1 to 12 in Uganda.
