Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Taibah uses learner-centered teaching to support academic and personal development within a secure and happy environment. A specially designed pastoral curriculum and co-curricular activities develop healthy lifestyles, resilience, adaptability, interpersonal skills, leadership and entrepreneurship, and a strong sense of community. The school's philosophy centres on the 5Cs: Confidence, Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking Skills and Concern for Community. The mission states teaching uses learner-centered methods to meet the needs of students of all abilities in a secure, happy environment. The environment is described as healthy, secure and happy to support students' emotional wellbeing. The aim is to produce confident, capable students who contribute positively to their communities.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Taibah is a private, co-educational, non-denominational day and boarding school offering programmes for children aged 4–18. The mission provides effective teaching and learning of the academic, pastoral and co-curricular programmes using learner-centered methods to suit the learning styles of students of all abilities in a secure and happy environment. The excellent quality of our teachers ensures opportunities for students of all abilities to develop to their full potential and explore their talents to the fullest. Every student leaves proud of their achievements, confident in their abilities and concerned for the needs of others. The school adopts a holistic approach focused on academic achievement, social skills, character building, discipline, confidence building and independence. Educational staff regularly engage in internationally sourced continuous professional development (CPD) to maintain high teaching standards.

Mental Wellbeing

Taibah provides a secure and happy environment to support students' mental wellbeing. Taibah International School offers Cambridge International Curriculum (CIE) for primary and secondary alongside the Uganda National Curriculum (UNEB), serving students aged 4 to 18. A private, co-educational, non-denominational day and boarding school, Taibah operates across multiple campuses, with Primary at Bwebajja, Junior at Kawempe, and Secondary at Bwebajja, supporting a learner-centred approach. The school provides well-structured teaching within Cambridge and UNEB pathways, and emphasises critical thinking, creativity and communication within its 5Cs framework.
