Introduction

Twinbrook International School is a fully accredited, non-denominational Ugandan institution offering Early Years Foundation Stage with a bespoke curriculum. The kindergarten section began in 2014, followed by the Elementary/Primary section in 2016 as a Primary Leaving Examination sitting center, reflecting continuity from early learning through upper primary. The school combines a local learning framework with the Foundation Stage National Curriculum in kindergarten, and uses a competence-based model with ICT integrated in the Elementary/Primary section. The campus serves a diverse, religiously pluralistic community; it promotes critical and innovative thinking while achieving academic success in a safe, trusting environment. Facilities include a dedicated music program with a music room for guitar, piano, drums, vocal training and ballet; strong sports offerings with football, netball, basketball, futsal, and swimming in a semi-Olympic pool plus smaller pools for kindergarten. Co-curricular activities include a bakery and agro-business component, contributing to practical learning and wellbeing for students.

Annual tuition (example calculation)
- The national academic calendar for Uganda operates on a three‑term year. Annual tuition (approximate) is therefore the term rate multiplied by three. For example:
- Day Baby–P.4: UGX 895,000 × 3 = UGX 2,685,000 per year (approx.).
- Boarding Baby–P.4: UGX 1,295,000 × 3 = UGX 3,885,000 per year (approx.).

Daycare / Nursery (rates shown separately)
- Daycare (Babies 1–2 years): UGX 45,000 per day, or UGX 1,500,000 per term (term rate shown). This is inclusive of consumables such as diapers.

Transport (bus) fees (termly)
- 0–5 km: UGX 250,000 per term (picked & dropped); UGX 180,000 per term (single route).
- 6–10 km: UGX 300,000 per term (picked & dropped); UGX 240,000 per term (single route).
- 10 km and above: negotiable (distance‑based).
- Special note: 1:00 pm dropping for willing parents; Baby and Kindergarten routes incur a 50% surcharge on the above transport rates.

Other routine costs
- Uniforms and clothing: Functional fee includes two pairs of uniform and sportswear; tracksuit is listed separately at UGX 50,000. Parents must provide black school shoes and white sports shoes.
- Stationery: The published term rates are stated to be inclusive of stationery (books, pens, pencils, reams etc.).
- Religious text: Parents are asked to provide a physical copy of the Good News Bible for Christian children or Yasaruna for Muslim children.

International / special student note
- A third‑party directory listing shows an international‑student boarding fee quoted as USD 520 for international students; parents of international students should note an international boarding figure may be listed in USD in some communications.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Fees are structured and billed by academic term; entry/functional charges are one‑off payments due on enrolment, while tuition, boarding and transport are charged per term and are payable at the start of each term. Parents obtain a learner payment code from the accounts section to use when making payments.

Accepted payment methods / where to pay
- Fee payments are made via bank payment to the school's nominated bankers. The school lists Centenary Bank and Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited as the schools' bankers for fee deposits/transfers. Payments are made using the learner payment code provided by the school accounts office.

Boarding‑specific notes
- Boarding term rates include meals and boarding provision as part of the boarding fee line items shown. Mattresses and blankets are provided for boarders. Functional/entry boarding fees include specified clothing items.

Refunds and withdrawal
- The published fee schedule and requirements document does not set out a specific refund or withdrawal policy in the fee lines provided. Parents should note that some one‑off entry charges (registration/functional fees) are typically non‑recurring; explicit refund terms are not listed in the fee schedule.

Summary of how charges are presented
- Charges are shown as: one‑off assessment and functional/entry fees (payable on admission), termly tuition and boarding rates (day and boarding), termly transport rates, and certain one‑off uniform items. Termly rates can be multiplied by three to produce an approximate annual cost consistent with the three‑term academic year.
