1. Location and curriculum. Ajyal International School – MBZ is located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Zone 15, behind the Sheikha Fatima Mosque, Abu Dhabi. The school follows the English National Curriculum, integrated with UAE MOE subjects, from Early Years through KS5, including IGCSEs, AS, and A Levels. Core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science are taught by UK-trained class teachers, while Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, and other UAE subjects are delivered by specialist teachers. Class sizes are capped at 15 students per class.
2. Admissions timeline. Admissions are open year‑round (excluding public holidays). For Foundation Stage (FS1 and FS2), applicants complete a Stay, Play and interview lasting about 20 minutes. For Years 1–3, there are assessment sessions lasting around 30 minutes. For Years 4–13, a GL assessment test is conducted and lasts about 2 hours.
3. How to begin. To start, submit the Online Application Form; the Admissions team will guide next steps. Prospective families may also arrange a campus visit through the Book a Tour process or by contacting the school's admissions team.
4. Academic year dates and visits. The 2025–26 terms are: Term 1 from August 25, 2025 to December 5, 2025; Term 2 from January 5, 2026 to March 13, 2026; Term 3 from March 30, 2026 to July 3, 2026.
