Billing schedule and payment terms

- Annual tuition is invoiced across the academic year and the annual charge is typically split into three instalments (three termly invoices). Typical term deadlines are around late August, late November and late February. Invoices and pro‑forma invoices are issued through the Accounts office for payment or employer reimbursement.
- To secure admission, parents must pay the 5% booking/acceptance payment within one week of the acceptance letter; if the booking fee is paid but the student does not attend during the first two weeks of term (without a valid reason), the school reserves the right to reassign the place.

School transport (bus) — costs, billing and refunds

- Transport is charged for ten months of the year and billed across three terms; parents pay transport fees for the full year or for the term as applicable. Payment for transport must be made in full for the year or for the term selected.
- Standard payment options for transport (and Accounts transactions) are: cash or credit card at the Accounts counter, or cheque payable to the school. Dishonour of cheque incurs an AED 250 fee. Invoices or pro‑forma invoices can be issued for employer reimbursement. Refunds for transport are allowed only where fees for future term(s) were paid and the service was not used; refunds are made via account‑payee cheque (or to the paying company where payment came from the employer).
- Replacement RFID card fee for bus attendance tracking: AED 25 (replacement charge).
- Transport route charges vary by area; sample route pricing ranges (illustrative examples published in school guides) show one‑way and two‑way annual options — parents should check the specific route cost applicable to their home area.

Boarding / accommodation

- The school operates as a day school and does not provide boarding accommodation; there are no boarding fees.

Other costs and optional charges

- Uniform: AED 500 per pupil per year (charged separately from the tuition + books amount). Textbooks are included in the tuition charge.
- Replacement or administrative charges (for example RFID replacement AED 25 and dishonoured cheque penalty AED 250) apply where relevant.
- Additional optional costs (exam fees, extracurricular activities, trips, external exam entries, or special programme fees) may apply depending on grade and chosen activities; specific optional charges are billed separately when applicable. (School practice is to include textbooks in the published tuition amount.)

Refunds (what is stated by the school)

- Transport refunds: a parent who paid transport fees for future term(s) but did not use the service may be eligible for a refund for the unused portion; refunds are processed by cheque and rules for temporary discontinuation and transfer are specified (for example, discontinuation notices and documentation are required).
- Acceptance / booking payment: the school requires the 5% booking payment to secure a place; if a paid booking is followed by non‑attendance in the first two weeks of term without a valid reason, the school may reassign the place.

Accepted payment methods (Accounts office)

- Payments accepted at the school Accounts counter: cash, credit card and cheque. The school issues invoices and pro‑forma invoices for employer reimbursement. Cheque dishonour penalties apply.

Admissions

Admissions

1) Criteria for Admission. The school requires the production of the appropriate documentation and payment of fees. The school assesses its ability to meet the student's needs before admitting them. There must be space available in the appropriate grade level. A successful admissions assessment is required for Grade 1 and older.

2) Admission Procedures. The process involves completing an application package and submitting the required documentation and fees as outlined in the Admissions Procedures document. Acceptance follows the procedures described in that document. The school welcomes students with a range of learning needs and provides support through the Inclusion Department with a SENCO and Learning Support Assistants. If the school cannot meet the needs of a student, registration is not accepted.

3) Entry Assessments and Grade Placement. For entry into Grade 1 and above, a student undergoes an entrance assessment, observation and/or interview (depending on the grade level). Admission to Kindergarten requires age criteria: Pre-KG must be 3 by August 31; KG1 must be 4 by August 31; KG2 must be 5 by August 31. Placement in Elementary Grades is based on age and educational attainment as determined by entrance assessment. For the senior school, entrance tests include Arabic, English and Mathematics, plus an oral interview and reading/comprehension/writing tasks. Late or mid-year applicants are accepted at the school's discretion and based on the academic program from which they are transferring.

4) Waiting Lists. If there is no space available, a student will be placed on a waiting list. Priority will be given to children of staff employed at the school, to children of staff at a sister school, and to students transferring from other schools who have a sibling attending the school. Waiting lists terminate at the end of the school year.

5) Acceptance and Enrollment. Acceptance requires payment of 5% of the tuition within one week of receiving the acceptance letter. If the payment is not received, the seat will be offered to another student. Booking fees may be paid, but if the student does not attend school during the first two weeks of term without a good reason, the seat may be offered to another student. If a parent withdraws their student, the withdrawal form must be completed before the first day of the academic year.

6) Re-enrollment and Progress. Students who have left the school and wish to return are required to repeat the admissions procedure. The student's file is kept for a minimum of five years. Students are promoted from one Grade to the next; if concerns about progress arise, a meeting with the parents is held to discuss issues and may include adjustments to teaching plans or additional support.

7) Grade/Year Placement and Curriculum Transfers. The grade names between the American curriculum and the British curriculum are not equivalent, and Year 1 is not the same as Grade 1. A grade adjustment will be made where necessary when transferring from a different curriculum.

8) Admission to Kindergarten. Pre-KG must be 3 years old by August 31; KG1 must be 4 years old by August 31; KG2 must be 5 years old by August 31. Late or mid-year applicants are accepted at the school's discretion and based on the program from which they are transferring.

Waitlist

Waiting lists exist if there is no space available, with priority given to children of staff at the school, to staff at a sister school, and to students transferring from other schools who have a sibling attending the school. Waiting lists terminate at the end of the school year.
