Fees
Application and enrolment fees
- Application fee (new students): AED 500 (assessment included).
- Enrolment fee for new students: up to 10% of the tuition fee; non‑refundable and deductible from the 1st term fee.
- Re‑enrolment fee for existing students: up to 5% of the tuition fee or AED 500 (whichever is higher); non‑refundable and deductible from the 1st term fee.
- Nursery (Salam Nursery) specific admission fee: AED 525 (payable once at time of admission). Registration fee for nursery: AED 1,000 (non‑refundable and to be deducted from the term fee).
Tuition fees by year group (full detail, per term and total) — Academic year 2025–2026
- Salam Nursery (age 2–3): 1st term (Sep–Dec) AED 8,100; 2nd term (Jan–Mar) AED 6,075; 3rd term (Apr–Jun) AED 6,075; Total AED 22,500. Admission fee AED 525 and registration fee AED 1,000 apply.
- FS1 (age 3–4, Salam Nursery / Foundation Stage 1): 1st term AED 7,651; 2nd term AED 5,737; 3rd term AED 5,737; Total AED 19,125. Admission fee AED 525 and registration fee AED 1,000 apply as noted for nursery admissions.
- FS2: Total AED 18,252 — 1st term AED 7,302; 2nd term AED 5,475; 3rd term AED 5,475.
- Year 1: Total AED 18,779 — 1st term AED 7,513; 2nd term AED 5,633; 3rd term AED 5,633.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Term payment due dates: 1st term payable by 01 August 2025; 2nd term payable by 01 December 2025; 3rd term payable by 01 March 2026. The full term fee must be paid before the start of each term (students may not join the classroom if fees are not settled by Orientation Day or the first day of term).
- Returned cheque charge: AED 250. Fee for cheque retrieval by parents: AED 50. Replacement payment for a returned cheque must be made in cash.
- For company‑paid fees, if the company does not pay by the due date the parent must settle the fee; a refund will be issued once the company completes payment.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable; Al Salam Private School operates as a day school and does not publish boarding or residential fees.
Other costs and optional services (examples and typical ranges)
- Mandatory assessment / benchmark exam charges (GL Progress Tests, Checkpoint, CAT4) are invoiced separately. Chromebooks, some textbooks, after‑school activities, transportation, uniforms, trips, extra learning support, and late‑collection charges are not included in tuition and are charged separately.
- Typical ranges reported (KHDA fact sheet examples): uniform AED 400–750; transport AED 4,200–9,200; extracurricular activities AED 200–1,000; school trips AED 35–10,000 (international excursions may be AED 6,000–12,000); canteen AED 3–35; class photographs AED 100–500; club activities AED 200–350; graduation kit AED 300–800. Learning support assistant costs and special provision may vary widely.
Refunds and withdrawal charges
- Nursery refunds and deductions on withdrawal: if a child was enrolled for two weeks or less, one month's fee will be deducted; if enrolled between two weeks and one month, two months' fees will be deducted; if enrolled for more than a month, three months' fees will be deducted.
- For students withdrawing from the school during the academic year, refunds (if any) are calculated in accordance with KHDA guidelines (KHDA Fee Framework). Enrolment fees and application fees are non‑refundable as specified (see enrolment fees section above).
Fee payment options
- Accepted payment methods: Cash; Cheque (payable to: Al Salam Private School LLC); Credit card; Online payments via the Zenda app (school code: asps); Wire transfer. School bank details for fee payments: Account Name: AL SALAM PRIVATE SCHOOL; Bank: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB); Account Number: 11710918920001; IBAN: AE440030011710918920001; Swift Code: ADCBAEAA (Al Bustan Branch). For nursery payments the bank account is with Emirates Islamic Bank (Account No. 3708433005701; IBAN AE590340003708433005701). Parents are asked to include student name and year level and confirm transfers by email to accounts@alsalamschool.ae. Zenda offers an online “Pay Now” option and a “Pay Later” instalment facility.
