Amity School Dubai was founded in 2017 as part of the Amity Education Group's expansion in the UAE. The 14-acre campus is located in Al Qusais School Zone and was developed to accommodate Pre-KG through Grade 12 on a CBSE-affiliated program. Gulf Islamic Investments financed the project in 2017, providing an AED 145 million investment to support Amity School Dubai's establishment. The Amity Education Group operates as a not-for-profit foundation with a global network of universities and schools. KHDA DSIB inspections have evaluated the school, with the 2022 inspection ranking it Good overall.
Amity School Dubai supports student leadership through a Student Council for Grades 1–12. A Parent Association and a Parent Representative Committee coordinate parent involvement and act as a link between families and the school, with Parent Representatives representing each grade. Newsletters document events and achievements across the school, illustrating a vibrant school life and community participation. The school participates in UAE cultural events, including UAE National Day celebrations that involve staff, students and families.
The school's Parent Representative Committee serves as the formal parent body within the Parent Association. It comprises parent representatives, the School Principal, the Senior Leadership Team, and a Parent Relations Executive, all working together to support and enhance the parent–school relationship. Parent Representatives come from every grade, acting as a link between the school and parents and ensuring representation across the student body. The committee is tasked with encouraging parent participation in school activities, communicating policies, and collecting feedback to help the school progress. It maintains a constructive approach to school policies and provides channels for parent input through the registrar and designated communications. Newsletters and school communications provide ongoing opportunities for parent involvement and awareness of association activities.
