AIS Canteen by Good Eats offers a daily rotating menu with hot meals, wholesome snacks, beverages, and sweet treats prepared by Good Eats chefs following HACCP and local Food Control Authority regulations. Meals can be ordered online via the Good Eats platform with campus code AISS, and payments can be made on-site by cash or card.
The school has a House System with Camel (Yellow), Falcon (Red), Horse (Blue), and Gazelle (Green) houses. Students are allocated to houses on enrollment. Secondary House Leaders promote participation and organise activities such as house chants, banners, and dress-up days.
AIS Sharjah is governed by a board of directors. The board includes H.E. Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Mr. Othman Al Sharif, and Mr. Abdalla Al Sharif, who represent the Al Sharif Investment Trading Group, indicating ownership by that group.
Australian International School Sharjah offers the Australian Curriculum from Early Learning to Year 12, with Senior School (Years 10–12) following the Queensland Certificate of Education pathway. Students can access ATAR and Applied pathways, with English required and ATAR calculated by QTAC. The curriculum includes Arabic and Islamic Studies and Moral Education, with enrichment options such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Curtin University Foundation Program; Engineering and Industrial Design are planned to be introduced in 2026/27. The campus supports learning, wellbeing, and inclusivity through age-appropriate classrooms, science labs, digital technology rooms, a library, music and drama spaces, a canteen, and the Oasis and sensory room for student wellbeing. Sports facilities include Primary and Secondary Gyms, Arfo Turf, a Multipurpose Field, Playgrounds, and a forthcoming Natural Grass Field. The co-curricular program features creative arts, sport, and leadership opportunities, alongside cultural events, service learning, and inclusion initiatives to engage with the broader community.
