Fees

Application / Registration Fees
- A registration fee equal to 5% of the annual tuition is payable after an offer is accepted; this amount is deductible from the student's final tuition for the academic year. The seat is reserved only when the registration fee is received. Re-registration for the following year is charged at 5% of the annual tuition and is deductible from the final tuition for that year.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is invoiced in three termly instalments. Standard due dates are: Term 1 (due 1 August), Term 2 (due 1 December) and Term 3 (due 1 March). A full-year invoice can be issued on request with a due date of 1 August.
- Late or non-payment procedures include formal warning notices, possible short-term suspension (limited and subject to policy), and the withholding of report cards or transfer documentation until outstanding fees are settled. The school will issue consecutive warnings for late payment before action is taken.
- Sibling discounts are applied across the school: second student 5%, third student 10%, fourth student 10%, fifth student 15%.

Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. AIS Sharjah operates as a day school and does not publish boarding or residential fees. School-provided transport is available (see Transportation).

Other costs and ancillary charges
- Uniform: AED 500 per student.
- Books: the published annual tuition figures are listed as covering tuition plus books.
- After-school care / aftercare:
- After-school care (Prep to Grade 2) is available at an hourly rate (example: AED 30 per hour); Kindy after-care for the year is shown as Term 1 AED 1,404; Term 2 AED 1,404; Term 3 AED 1,404 (annual total AED 4,212) in the school fee schedule. Nursery after-care is available and examples of day and hourly charges appear in the published fee schedule.
- Transportation: a school bus service (operated in partnership with Emirates Transport) is offered; bus fees vary by route and are published in the school's Bus Routes & Fees brochure for 2025–2026. Bus fees are charged separately from tuition.
- Meals: tuition figures are exclusive of meals; catering or meal plans (if used) are charged separately. Additional specialised support or optional activities (learning support, international trips, external exam fees) may incur further charges.

Refund information
- Registration fee refund: for new students the registration fee is refundable if the school receives written notification at least two weeks before the start of the academic year (reference date given in policy: 15 August). Re-registration fees are refundable if written notice is provided on or before 30 June.
- Tuition retention on mid-term departure: if a student attends up to part of the first week and then withdraws without sufficient written notice, up to 5% of the annual tuition may be retained. If a student attends between one and three weeks, the school may retain one month's tuition; attendance over three up to six weeks may result in retention of two months' tuition; attendance over six weeks may result in retention of the full term fee. These retention rules apply to mid-term withdrawals and are set out in the school's tuition fee policy.

Fee payment options
- Online/mobile payments and instalment plans are supported through the school's digital payment partner (Zenda) and the school's online payment portal. Parents can pay termly fees online and may split payments via the digital platform where offered.
- On-campus payments are accepted in cash, by card, or by cheque at the school Accounts Office during office hours.
- Bank transfer is accepted; the school publishes bank account details and requests the family code and student name be included in the transfer reference for processing. Third-party online payment gateway processing is also used.

- Annual tuition per grade ranges from approximately AED 10,572 (single-day nursery) up to AED 69,129 (Grade 12), charged in three termly instalments with the Term 1 invoice typically due on 1 August. Australian International School Sharjah offers the Australian Curriculum from Early Learning to Year 12, with Senior School (Years 10–12) following the Queensland Certificate of Education pathway. Students can access ATAR and Applied pathways, with English required and ATAR calculated by QTAC. The curriculum includes Arabic and Islamic Studies and Moral Education, with enrichment options such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Curtin University Foundation Program; Engineering and Industrial Design are planned to be introduced in 2026/27. The campus supports learning, wellbeing, and inclusivity through age-appropriate classrooms, science labs, digital technology rooms, a library, music and drama spaces, a canteen, and the Oasis and sensory room for student wellbeing. Sports facilities include Primary and Secondary Gyms, Arfo Turf, a Multipurpose Field, Playgrounds, and a forthcoming Natural Grass Field. The co-curricular program features creative arts, sport, and leadership opportunities, alongside cultural events, service learning, and inclusion initiatives to engage with the broader community.
