Uniforms are compulsory and may be purchased from the school store. FS1–FS2 wear a blue polo shirt with navy shorts or pants for boys and a blue polo shirt with tartan skirts or pants for girls; Years 1–6 follow the same pattern with slightly different shirt styles; Years 7–9 wear blue buttoned shirts with pants for boys and tartan skirts/skorts or pants for girls. On P.E. days, students wear the P.E. uniform; jewellery and hairstyles have specific guidelines.
DePS promotes healthy eating and is a nut-free school. Nuts are prohibited; foods such as chocolates, sweets, cakes, fast food, fizzy drinks and chewing gum are not permitted; parents are asked to provide healthy food and drinks.
