The Deira Private School curriculum is built on the National Curriculum for England, with English as the language of instruction. In Years 1 to 8 students progress through the NCfE, and the program integrates STEAM, coding, IEYC, IPC, and IMYC concepts across the school from FS 1 to Year 8. Foundation Stage follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The school offers a Creative and Performing Arts program as part of its enrichment and extra-curricular activities, including art and design, music, drama, dance, ballet, and creative writing. It provides opportunities in art, design, and performance through the Enrichment Programme.
Languages include English and Arabic across the curriculum, with Arabic and Islamic Education embedded in the UAE-aligned program. FS2 also offers French. The Arabic department collaborates with English teachers to deliver integrated language learning.
An enrichment program encourages leadership, collaboration, resilience, and perseverance through various clubs and activities, including lunchtime enrichment, sports, and a wide range of clubs and events for social and personal development.
The curriculum emphasizes UAE heritage and values through MSC (Moral and Social Studies) and Arabic/Islamic Education, fostering local identity and global citizenship.
The Enrichment Programme and World Scholar's Cup participation provide leadership development, teamwork, communication, and public-speaking opportunities for students.
Wellbeing and safety are integral to the school experience, with a diverse sport and physical activity program (e.g., football, basketball, gymnastics) and a focus on character education and personal growth.
