Formal uniform is required for Years 1 to Year 12, and uniforms can be purchased from Magrudy's in Circle Mall; the official school bag and book bag must be bought from Magrudy's (trolley bags are not allowed). The Sixth Form dress code requires professional attire (males: black trousers with a white or black shirt; females: a white or black shirt with a black knee-length skirt or trousers). The PE kit is compulsory and can be purchased from Magrudy's; a competitive kit is available for squad sports via Kukri.
Leela's Lunches provides catering at DBSJP. Meals are prepared daily with a health-focused philosophy, with ingredients chosen to maximise nutrient density and delivered fresh to the school. The service also includes a range of snacks and meals to meet different dietary needs.
The school uses a four-house system: Caracal, Falcon, Gazelle, and Oryx. House Captains (and Deputy House Captains) are elected to lead each house and organise House events, promoting house spirit.
